Around one hundred and forty years ago, Masbanat Awaida was founded by an insightful man who came from one of the most prestigious families of Lebanon, Mr. Hussein Awaida. As a landlord of many olive-tree plantations and a great believer in industry as one of the most important pillars of the economy, he decided to establish what might be the first hand-made olive oil-based soap factory in Lebanon. Generations after generations, the Awaida family members took care of this precious trade and developed it to become one of the most refined, sophisticated, and – most importantly – natural form of today’s artistic industries.

Throughout the years, our product lines have grown to include many types of natural handmade soaps and satisfy all tastes. The superior effect of our virgin olive oil based soaps, massage oils along with their unique aroma makes all the difference. Moreover, our artistic handmade touch and creative designs give us a unique identity.
From our countless olive oil based soap types and flavors we have chosen the most unique: Mint, Rose Violet, Jasmine Amber, Musk, Chamomile, Orange, Green Tea, Floral Lavender, Laurel, Honey and wheat, Black Seed, Transparent (strawberry-spring fujer-sweet melon), transparent with lofa, hand cut rose, extra aroma balls with honey, and massage oils with different essential oils.
In addition, made-to-order creative soap gifts, baskets, and artistic handmade carved soaps have been added to our production line in the past few years.
